This is a ride organized by <a href=\"https:\/\/chicksandmachines.com\/apropos-de-chicks-and-machines\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chicks And Machines<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/sportsdrc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sports DRC<\/a> (Alma) to raise funds for <a href=\"https:\/\/fr-ca.facebook.com\/hlapasserelle\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">La Passerelle<\/a> (Alma), a house that shelters abused women and their children.<\/p>\n<p>The funds collected during the event are donated to the <em><strong>&#8220;Nouveau D\u00e9part&#8221;<\/strong><\/em> project of La Passerelle, in order to help women obtain what they need to start a new life (first month&#8217;s rent, school materials for children, groceries, etc.). Truly extraordinary!<\/p>\n<p>After eating a few hot dogs while fraternizing, and with a smile on our faces, we are ready to leave at around noon\u2026 We couldn&#8217;t have had a better temperature. A splendid day!\ud83c\udf1e<\/p>\n<p>We are all ready to ride together to raise awareness about violence against women and to show our support for them, financially yes, but also with our hearts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;25616&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; add_caption=&#8221;yes&#8221;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_day\"><\/span>The day<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Divided into groups, each of them under the supervision of a guide, we hit the road with enthusiasm and pride. And what about the road? The tour of Lac Saint-Jean, nothing less! wow! What wonderful landscapes! This is something not to be missed&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>We make two stops on our journey and return to our starting point in the late afternoon. But our day doesn&#8217;t end there: dinner, door prizes, raffles&#8230; Really enjoyable.<\/p>\n<p>And finally <strong>THE ANNOUNCEMENT<\/strong>! The accumulated donations, among others on Facebook and on site, as well as entries for the Ride, raised approximately<strong> $13,000<\/strong>. Great! And that&#8217;s more than in the first edition.
