The Chicks And Machines Story

In 2017,

Maxime Sheehy, a Quebec entrepreneur, saw that women were poorly represented in the field of motorsports.

He decided to create a web magazine that would be written exclusively by women who were passionate about their sport.

In the first year, more than 15 women joined the team.

In 2018,

the web magazine is growing and in addition to writing articles on all things motorsports, video creation and the clothing line are added.

The growth of the magazine is amazing and Chicks And Machines got invited to cover several events.

In 2019,

there are 20 female contributors who proudly write for the magazine. On social medias, Chicks And Machines is making waves, as never before have women been so respectfully featured in the industry.

Cyndi Martin, Director of Operations at Motoneiges.ca, joins the Chicks And Machines team. Upon her arrival, she restructured the company, opened new markets and took charge of the clothing line and the online store.

In 2020,

the magazine’s influence expands with new collaborators from Alaska and California. In April 2020, the company was incorporated and Cyndi Martin became officially co-owner with Maxime Sheehy.

The web magazine, the clothing line and the mission of Chicks And Machines Inc. is becoming more and more popular everywhere they go. Visits to the www.ChicksAndMachines.com website are up 424% compare to 2019!

In 2021,

Chicks And Machines launched their french podcast on several platforms like Spotify, IHeartRadio, Youtube etc. The podcast quickly became a success with its energy and authenticity. That same year, Chicks And Machines reintroduced men’s sweaters to their store.

The website reached the 1 million page views per year!

In 2022,

It is on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 that Max Sheehy and Cyndi Martin appear on Radio-Canada’s “Dragon’s Den” tv show. Accompanied by Roxane Duval and Caroline Gauthier, they offer the dragons to invest in Chicks And Machines…

Today,

thousands and thousands of women are being inspired to buy, ride and live their passion. Manufacturers, retailers and everyone else involved in motorsports are finally seeing that women deserve their place in this once male-dominated industry.
