What instantly comes to your mind if I say MUD & JEEP? Cleanliness?! Are you crazy! lol!
Obviously, I’m talking aboutRally Jeepy 4X4 de Victoriaville which took place on October 8, 2017. Our day started around 2:30am. Please bring me a large coffee ASAP! Once our first coffee was done, the shower taken (seriously, I have no clue why I decided to take one when I knew that I would be covered in mud!) we took the road towards Victo. After a two hour drive we arrived in “town” and it was just so easy to find our way to the departure line. We just had to follow the hundred of Jeeps and other vehicles or the mud covering the streets!
It was only 7:30am but we could already feel the excitement from everyone participating to that wonderful day. A cut off here, a drift there, girls and boys excited to play with mud, people screaming to show their joy, some F*** words because guys were stuck in a track. Oh well, a sh** load of fun!
It’s as simple as that: It’s the biggest Jeep Rally in Quebec!!! It was just incredible to see those 912 vehicles rush through this 143km circuit. The rain was pouring almost half of the day but considering the type of event, it was just perfect…
More mud = more fun!
All day long, Jeep and other 4WD of any kinds paraded in the surrounding neighborhoods to get to multiple trials each crazier than the previous one. Participants all had riddles to solve during their journey where all right answers were giving them bonus points for more chances to win AWESOME prizes! After this amazing day, everyone got together in a big parking lot to expose their mobile mud! Tons of volunteers were offering a car wash service in order to make the Jeep shine again. There was also big pile of car shells on which the most reckless drivers could try to venture. Afterward, a buffet was served for anyone who participated to this crazy day.
Let’s be honest, that type of thrilling day wets the appetite. I am the biggest princess when it comes to food… I am so difficult, it’s not even funny and I can tell you, the food was just A-M-A-Z-I-N-G and the meal size: just GIGANTIC! After diner, you could feel the excitement growing under the big tent since it was time for the prizes draw! Each participant was impatiently waiting to know who won what and the total value of all prizes was worth 20 000$! You’re thrilled to know what were those prizes? Prepare yourself for next year edition and you’ll know then… I wouldn’t want to ruin the surprises!!
I’d also want to take time to give a big shout out to the organization and thank the people who made this video possible: the amazing team of Garage Turcotte Performance and Octane 7.0. It is because of people like them that we can participate to all those crazy events and give you the best reviews of all time!
To cut a long story short, the day was a tremendous success from A to Z and it’s an event that no one should miss each year!
