Heated Glove Liner by Ewool: perfect for all activities !
When I received my pair of Ewool heated glove liners, the first thing that jumped out at me was the packaging. I didn’t know it at the time, but the sleek and classy look of the box corresponded perfectly to the product that awaited me inside.
I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered that the company had left me a nice, personalized message inside. How thoughtful! It is actually thanks to this handwritten message that I discovered that Ewool is a Quebec company; I was over the moon!
Undeniable high quality
First, let’s talk specs. Made primarily of polyester with a bit of elastane, the gloves offer a nice stretch, and the quality of the fabric is obvious as soon as one runs it through their fingers.
The liners are water resistant, but we’re not just talking about the fabric here: even the electronic components have an IP67 waterproof certification.
The thumb and index finger have a touchscreen-compatible fabric tip on each hand.
Even though the fabric is thin, it performs very well: you feel the heat stay in it, without feeling like you’re encumbered by a thick fabric. It’s the perfect combination!
The aspect that impressed me the most is the battery. It is only 1cm wide and 8cm long! It’s hidden in a small and discreet compartment, closed by a zipper. I also like that the elastic band on the wrist can be tightened, which is very practical for cold days.
The designers of the product were careful not only to design a battery that is small and powerful, but also to place it strategically in a place where you forget it even exists. In fact, the location of the battery is ideal for comfort: it is hidden inside the forearm, on the flat part just below the wrist. You don’t feel it at all.
I was also very impressed with the subtlety of the wires, which heat each finger individually. Having tried a variety of heated garments and accessories in the past, this is the first time I don’t feel the heated threads at all.
In fact, the wires are so thin and well placed that they blend in with the seams and it’s easy to forget they exist.
The accessories
The glove liners come with two batteries (one for each hand) and a charger with two interchangeable tips: one for America and one for Europe. I find this particularly interesting for people who like to travel.
A red light indicates that the batteries are charging, which is very practical.
Heating: power and duration
The gloves can operate at three power levels: high, regular and energy saving. At high power, the batteries are estimated to last 2 hours. At the regular setting, they can last up to 4 hours. At the lowest setting, they can last approximately 7 hours.
When the liners are turned on, it is very surprising how quickly the gloves warm up. I was genuinely impressed with how efficiently such a small battery can perform!
I especially like the location of the button to turn on, off and navigate between power levels. In my experience, I’ve often dealt with gloves that have buttons on the outside of the wrist.
I definitely prefer the location of the ewool button, which is on the inside of the wrist. I find it much more accessible this way, and it’s very convenient to be able to see the color of the button without having to turn my arm.
To continue with the practical aspects of this product, the batteries can be recharged without being removed from the gloves, thanks to the easy access location of the plugs. They really thought of everything!
Not just for motorsports
Of all the benefits of this product, the one I like the most is the fact that the liners are completely wireless, which gives the user an unparalleled level of freedom of movement, while also being much simpler than having to plug into a vehicle’s battery.
This means that the gloves can be used for all kinds of activities, motorized or not. I, for one, plan to wear these gloves both on my motorcycle and on winter walks with my dog.
Although the fabric is thin, it should be noted that you may need to purchase slightly larger gloves if you want to use the Ewool gloves as a liner under protective gloves, for example when riding a motorcycle.
A product from Quebec: I love it!
I was very happy to learn that ewool is a local company; it’s always a pleasure to support Quebec products. The only thing that could make this item perfect would be if it was also made in Quebec, or in Canada even, rather than in China.
All in all, the heated glove liner is the perfect accessory for a wide variety of people. Whether it’s to keep warm while practicing our favorite motorsport, like motorcycling or snowmobiling, or simply to brave the winter cold during our usual activities like walking, the ewool glove liner is a worthwhile investment.
Warm fingers are happy fingers!
Thank you ewool for allowing me to discover your awesome product!

Yes not made in Canada was surprising and confusing for the most expensive liner in the world. Just a note that the charging light turns green once fully charged.
